‘Residual elasticity up to 600°C’
HTP 18499 is a paste-like, solvent-free product that is used as a sealant and adhesive in various technical areas in ongoing temperatures up to 600°C. Once cured, this product provides a ductile (malleable) matrix with a low level of residual elasticity. The product is suitable for the adhesion/sealing of mineral, ceramic and metallic materials and, especially, the installation of sectioned mechanical seals. Furthermore, HTP 18499 can also be used as a coating or sealant in industrial equipment, exhaust systems, exhaust chimneys and furnaces as well as electrical and gas-powered heating systems.
