‘Adhesion in extreme temperatures’
HTK 19580 is based on an inorganic, solvent-free compound formula that is particularly well suited to the adhesion of metals, ceramic, fireclay, glass etc. Areas of applications include heat-exposed areas such as furnaces and chimneys (installation of ceramic sealing bands or glass panels). HTK 19580 is suitable for use as a repair paste to seal exhaust systems and to glue electrodes or heating elements into ceramic components. It should not be exposed to more than around 1,200°C but higher temperatures are possible for short periods.
